“We, the artists and organisation team of Rhapsody in School are thrilled to receive the ECHO-Klassik award! Classical music of all times has a prosperous future as it has it’s firm place in our hearts. We shall continue to pursue our goal of bringing music directly to the classrooms of children and young people. There they shall experience the immediacy and the pure emotion of music and catch the spark of that wonderful world.”

Lars Vogt, pianist and instigator of Rhapsody in School, September 9th 2014

Musiker Hautah e.V.

supports the out-reach projekt RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL

Since 2005, top soloists of classical music have visited children and teenagers during their school lessons to explain their music to the students. The feature of these remarkable music lessons is the interaction between the students and the artists.

We believe in the concept of the project, and have seen over many years the important contribution RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL has made towards developing cultural identity in the community. Those who know their cultural roots, and who understand that creativity and initiative emanate from this source, can appreciate the worth of cultural diversity and the role of culture.  Those who do so can discover themselves and hold themselves in higher esteem. We observe with pleasure how these encounters often open up a whole new world for these young people. The students’ many positive responses testify to this.

Join us to promote and support the project RHAPSODY IN SCHOOL. We cordially invite you!
